The anglers were out in force on Saturday which resulted in quite a tough match by Lindholme standards, and the top bay on Willows was the place to be. Out in front was venue regular Les Marshall (Barnsley Bait Co) who caught on the short pole and down to the reeds with pellet to take 40+ good F1s and four carp for the victory. On the next peg Lee Hall came close but ran out a clear second. Here is the victor with part of his catch…

Another great attendance and most of the leading weights were at the windward ends of the lakes. It was Ossett’s Chris Reilly who triumphed by the margin of just 3oz, catching F1s and a couple of bonus carp on the bomb and also a few on the pole. This just held off the challenge of James Burke (Tri-Cast Calder) on the peg to his left, James caught some better fish including a 12lb carp on feeder tactics.
