Philip Deitch took home a £300 bonus for the golden peg with a convincing victory on peg 28, catching on the long pole shallow and the bomb and pellet.

Thursday September 15
Willows Lake (26 pegs)

A fairly difficult match with a lot of anglers on the lake. Winner Dale Shepherd included 61lb of barbel in his keepnets, which he caught down the edge to his left, to go with a tidy net of F1s.

Saturday September 17

An incredible match which saw 140lb finish last! Mick Owen broke the official lake record of 249lb, only to see it beaten half an hour later by Paul Wright. Paul caught a huge number of 8oz to 14oz fish using the pole shallow at 6m with pellet.

Loco Lake (24 pegs)

Another Loco victory for Ryan Law, who fished his trademark caster shallow tactics for another decent all F1 catch. Runner up Ben Fisk’s net was also worth a mention as 100lb of it consisted of just 10 carp up to 16lb.
