Alex Dockerty didn’t fancy his draw on peg 14 in the small bay, which had been poor the weekend previous, but was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of F1s feeding on his 11m pole line with soft pellet. He also added a few fish on the feeder later on.

Wednesday January 27

Details on this match are sketchy unfortunately but most caught on a small feeder with pellet, before the fish came onto the short pole lines later on.

Thursday January 28
Bonsai Lake (20 pegs)

3. P Christie 46-1-0, peg 41

The current hot area in front of the café threw up once again as Phil Chapman topped a fairly hard match. The wind discounted pole fishing and Phil fished the bomb and corn.
