IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ANGLERS VISITING LINDHOLME LAKES

Due to a sudden increase in the outbreaks of KHV (Koi Herpes Virus) cases across the UK, including one this week in Lincolnshire, we ask all visiting anglers to do the following to prevent the spread of the disease:

-Dry all keepnets out thoroughly beforehand and/or behind your peg until 15 minutes before the start of any open or club competition.
-Dry all landing nets out thoroughly too, as these can also be kept wet in damp net bags, allowing the virus to stay active.

Any angler putting their nets straight in without drying out will be asked to leave the fishery. This is a very serious virus which can have disastrous consequences on carp stocks.
