Please read these conditions carefully before clicking to book.
Making a Booking
Your agreement is between you and Grantham Lodges. References to ‘the Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’ in these terms and conditions apply to Grantham Lodges. References to ‘you’ in these terms and conditions are to you, as the person making the booking and, where applicable, to every member of your party.
There will be a contract between you and us:
- If you book by telephone when we accept your initial payment
- If we issue you written confirmation
- If you book online when your booking is confirmed
The person making the booking accepts the contract on behalf of all members of your party and is responsible for making sure they accept the contract. We cannot accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18.
If half or more of the party is aged between 17 and 25, you must tell us when you book. We have the right to refuse your booking or not to issue keys on arrival to any persons or groups at our discretion.
If you wish to book a single sex party you must tell us of this before you book.
We reserve the right to cancel any online booking that we reasonably believe breaches our terms and conditions of booking.
You must check your hire invoice and booking acceptance as well as all other documents we send you carefully as soon as you receive them. If any information appearing on any document appears to be inaccurate in any way, you must let us know straight away. We regret we cannot accept any liability to make changes if we are not notified of any inaccuracy in any document within 7 days of our sending it out.
Telephone/ Internet/ Email & Postal Bookings will be held provisionally for up to 7 days* until a deposit has been received. If we do not receive a deposit, your booking will be cancelled.
A cash £50 security deposit will be taken on hand over of the keys and will be returned on inspection of your lodge on departure
Duration Of Your Stay
All terms are either per week (monday to monday*) or per short break (Monday – Friday, or Friday – Monday or Friday – sunday or Saturday – monday) for the accommodation as equipped and described. The usual check-in time is 4pm (subject to unavoidable delays). The check-out time (usually 10am) will be shown on your hire invoice. You are obliged to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition and you are responsible for any damage done or loss sustained during your stay. We reserve the right to charge guests for any damages made during your stay at Grantham lodges which are situated on Lindholme Lakes Country Park.
When you book you must pay the applicable deposit of £250 at the time of booking, if we do not receive payment, your booking will be cancelled.
Your balance is due on day of arrival and can be paid by cash or card
Cancelling Your Booking
Telephone us immediately if you have to cancel your booking. We have the right to refuse to refund your deposit, however, as standard practise; deposits are refunded to guests cancelling over 20 weeks from their arrival date. If you cancel within 20 weeks of your booking date, your deposit will not be refunded unless the space can be refilled.
Amending a booking
Amendments to your booking must be made at least 8 weeks prior to your arrival and is subject to availability. For amendment a charge of £50 will apply.
Cancellations or Changes by the Owner
The Owners do not expect to have to make any changes to your booking. However, sometimes problems happen and bookings have to be changed or cancelled or mistakes in brochures or other details corrected. The owner has the right to do this. If we do, we will contact you (by phone if reasonably possible in the case of a significant change or cancellation, we will let you know about minor changes by post) as soon as is reasonably practical. We will explain what has happened and let you know about the cancellation or change.
Number in Your Party
The total number in your party must not exceed the capacity of the accommodation as advertised by us. Babies will be counted as members of your party. You should check the policy of your chosen accommodation carefully before booking. This is for insurance purposes. Any guests found to have exceeded the lodge capacity will be asked to leave immediately. We have cots and high chairs available for £0.00 per night but with limited stock these can not be guaranteed
Check in time is between 4pm and 5pm. If you do arrive before this time, you are welcome to fish or just relax in the surroundings until your accommodation is ready. We are happy to release keys as soon as the accommodation is ready, however, this will not be before 2pm.
Linen, Towels and Keys
Except for cots, bed linen is provided. You will be provided with duvets and pillows for each guest. We ask that you strip the beds on departure.
Towels are provided, each guest will have a hand towel and bath sheet. These towels are not for hot tub use, and you will be charged £10.00 for each towel that is damaged.
All the lodges at Grantham Lodges are fully self catered. We provide tea and coffee facilities alongside a few dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls to get guests started for their stay, however, we do not supply these items for the duration of the stay.
>We ask all guests, group bookings in particular, to be respectful to other guests during their stay. Please keep noise and foul language to a minimum wherever possible. We have the right to refuse to hand over accommodation if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to cause offence to other guests or to members of staff. We reserve the right to terminate a holiday after the keys have been handed over, if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests or members of staff. In these circumstances, no refund will be given.
Damage to Accommodation
You are liable to Grantham lodges for any damage caused in the accommodation during the period of hire. Grantham Lodges has the right to enter any accommodation (without prior notice if this is not practical or possible) if special circumstances or emergencies arise (for example if repairs need to be carried out). The visitor understands to keep the premises and all the furniture, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the booking period (reasonable wear and tear excepted) and shall pay to Grantham Lodges the value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as they be incapable of being restored to its previous condition. Breakages and damage should be reported as soon as possible.
The visitor and members of his/her party are asked to leave the accommodation clean and tidy. Grantham Lodges reserve the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition.
Lindholme lake & Grantham Lodges maintains the hot tubs on a daily basis. In the event of inappropriate use resulting in chemical imbalances and the need to drain and refill the hot tub, a charge of £50 will be made to the person who made the booking. Guides to the proper use of our hot tubs are available in the accommodation. If a Hot Tub breaks down a repair or Alternative Hot tub will be offered as quick as reasonably possible usually with 24hrs. If for some reason this can not be offered or repaired for the rest of your Duration a lay-z-spa inflatable hot tub will be provided and no compensation will be expected by the party.
No Pets allowed on site this will result in being asked to remove the animal off site with immediate effect and if it has entered the lodge will result in a cleaning cost of £50 minimum.
Your vehicles, their accessories and contents are left entirely at your risk. Lindholme lakes or Grantham Lodge are not responsible for any loss or damage from or to any vehicle from any cause whatsoever.
Grantham Lodges or Lindholme Lakes Country Park ltd right of entry:
Grantham Lodges and or Lindholme Lakes Country Park ltd and or its agents reserve the right to enter any Lodge at any responsible time on reasonable cause.
Day tickets must be purchased prior to fishing the private pegs or the surrounding lakes from the onsite tackle shop this i due to the lakes being owned by Lindholme Lakes Country Park LTD and it is there rules which must be abided by at all times. Failure to do so could end in you being asked to leave the site with no refund.
Including but not limiting to the following Fishing equipment, Jewellery, Vehicles, Electronic items and all other possessions are left at their own risk. Grantham Lodges and or Lindholme Lakes Country Park ltd are not responsible for any loss, damage or theft whatsoever. Insurance must be provided by yourselves if needed for possessions.
