General Rules

ALL KEEPNETS, LANDING NETS AND STINK BAGS MUST BE DRIED BEFORE FISHING ON THE BANK BEHIND YOU UNTIL 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE START OF ANY MATCHES OR SESSIONS. This is to prevent the spread of KHV (Koi Herpes Virus) to our fishery. Thank you.

Insurance must be supplied by yourself. Lindholme Lakes accepts no responsibility. Please report any faulty platforms to the shop or 07703155646 and you will be offered an alternative.

Nets – to be dried on the bank for 30 minutes prior to usage to help stop KHV and disease transmission. Please only put nets in 15 minutes before the match starts.

Keepnets only allowed in matches where 3 nets must be used to split the fish evenly or less than 3 nets used it is  50 – 60lb a net limit.                      ( disqualified net if you go over)

All feeder and bomb rigs must be free running, not fixed or elasticated. You cannot have any knots or stops above your feeder/bomb. Use a bead or stop below it, don’t push a swivel into a feeder.

Banned Baits – Bread is only to be used from November to April on the hook only, no meat with the only exception of seafood, no artificial baits, bollies can only be used on the hook only no feeding. No feeding floating baits, no super glue.

Drennan Lindholme feed pellets only (these are high quality match pellets and come in 2mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm sizes) Spot checks are regularly made and if you are found to be using other feed pellets you will be asked to leave the fishery.

Groundbait to be used in a feeder or pole cup only (this includes soil).

Barbless hooks only. Max size 10 also no braid.

Gardening – you can garden the bank and reeds, rakes can be used to clear away debris in the bottom. No person to enter the water, digging or cutting branches is also forbidden.

Your box or chair must be on the platform, no legs in the water.
No dogs around the lakes and no litter or tab ends to be left on the bank.

No one on the bank before purchasing a ticket or reporting to the shop and prior to 7am. You must be packed and left prior to 9pm or dark which ever comes first.

All fish above 6oz must be netted.
