Peg 19 isn’t a great draw on paper but with the wind into this end of the lake Steve Dyson ‘hoovered’ up the opposition with a superb weight down the edge and on the long pole.

Beeches lake dominated the match and it was Damien Beggs who scored his second Lindholme open win with a fine catch of carp using the long pole and pellet and finding plenty of fish in the margins too.
