The opening qualifier events of Maver’s prestigious Match This competition are nearly upon us. We at Lindholme Lakes are proud to host a Match This qualifier event on Sunday 3rd April.

Tickets for the match are still available. You can book your place by visiting the Official website at www.mavermatchthis.co.uk. Alternatively, you can now obtain your tickets by completing one of the Match This coupons that are now running in the Angling Times every week between now and July 26th, which is the Tuesday before the final qualifier. Finally, you can book your tickets direct by calling Maver UK on 01527 406 300.

However you decide to book your ticket please be aware that time is running out!

Remember, Maver are guaranteeing a minimum purse of £50,000 with a £100,000 prize fund if all the qualifier tickets sell out. Either way, Maver are offering the richest cash prize in the history of the sport! Don’t miss out on your chance to take part in the sports most anticipated and prestigious event to date

We are also running starting on the same date a Garbolino Ultimate league were you get points on all Open Matches and the top 45 anglers qualify for a final match with around £8000 prize fund plus support in the way of tackle from Garbolino .
It will cost £1 to enter the ultimate league .

There is 40 sites available on a daily pitch fee of £10 a night all pitches have metered electricity.

There is a new Toilet and shower block on the touring caravan site for your use.

Caravan Club Rallies are always welcome.

There is a pool table and clubhouse opening evenings.

We have 3 acres of caravaning and will welcome clubs for rallies etc at discounted prices.

There is a new shower block being built and the new clubhouse is now open .

The pitches are on a first come basis .

The pitches will be a 12mtr by 11mtr plot surrounded by individual hedging .

The tent arena is in the middle of the pitches and can welcome around 20 tents .

For your early booking of these popular and waited for pitches ring and ask for Neil to resereve your plot .

The road way has know been added and the hook-ups will be finnished over the winter months .

We will also for the coming months have a few touring caravans on site for your all important holiday or just a short stay ,we have 2 berth ,4 berth and all caravans come with electrics etc .

At only £150 for a full weeks stay including ground rent ,electrics etc is a attractive holiday for all anglers .

If it is only a couple of nights stay then it is only £25 a night

It is fully stocked and the clubhouse is fully functional and in the same building .

The Garbolino Spring Festival again was a great Festival ,with all anglers having a great weeks fishing and some lovely free food after the match was had by all .The Banter after the match and the close finnish ,where 10 of the anglers could have won on the last day made all for a great week .

The festival saw Tim Morran who is a regular and match organiser at the Oaks Fishery, Thirsk win the Festival and pick up the Garbolino Gmax Pole and a cheque for £1000.

Steve Rothery came a close 2nd and Johnny Kenning came 3rd overhaul after a weight count back ,only to be pipped by 10oz after 5 days 380lb 13oz .

It goes without saying this makes a massive difference to Garbolino Lindholme .

It allows us here at Lindholme Lakes to hold the prestigious Summer Festival ,it also allows us to offer Club Matches that SPECIAL DEAL of book 3 x 20 peg matches in 2010 and a free Garbolino Rod will be given for the Club to fish for .

It also allows us to again run the Garbolino Uk Pole Championship and the winner being given a Top End Pole has well has the unbelievable prize fund.

It also allows us to run again with the help of Tommy Pickering the Summer Juniour Coaching Days ,which without Tommy giving his time up for free and Preston permiting there Consultant to do it and the Tackle donated by Garbolino for teaching purposes it would not happen .

56 juniours came in the summer for the totally free coaching both in pegging and tuition again Thanks to you all.
